Wilma Becker
Artist and educator in Aiken, SC
Wilma is an award winning artist and educator. She has taught art in private, public schools for special needs children, museums and art centers for 30 years and has been an avid designer and painter. Wilma has a BIS degree in Art History and Studio Arts and a Masters degrees in Art Education. See resume page.
Her teaching ability was honored when she was nominated teacher of the year in Richmond County, GA the year she retired. She is a passionate teacher and her students create award winning pieces every year. Wilma won the Robert Rauschenberg "Power of Art" award for excellence in teaching special needs children in 2007.
